TeaFeathers - Sa'Dimali Glass Carver
Work for the future TeaFeathers art book, funded through Patreon! A pylura glass specialist from the Sa’Dimali, a tribe of fierce desert dwelling Alecani and Pylura. Snakes are central to Sa'Dimali culture, as is glass making and glass artisanship. This individual is making a portrait of their companion snake out of a deep blue-green glass. Sa'Dimali often have snake companions, some of which may be magically blessed to be able to communicate with their chosen pylura or alecani. Maybe this one is telling her pylura, "be sure to get my good side!"

I like the outfit, it looks like something a prosperous pre-industrial culture would make and even evokes the style and prosperity of ancient Egypt without actually looking like ancient Egyptian fashion. It also never occurred to me to even think of glass sculpting as one would sculpt marble as even a possibility. Even if it is actually impossible or really, really difficult in the real world, it simply highlights just how amazing Sa’Dimali at it and they should be rightly famous for it. Awesome worldbuilding on display here!
