A semi-quick color composition of my interpretation of H.P Lovecraft's Cthulhu for my mentor assignment with my professor Vincent DiFate.
The entire image is digitally painted except for the water which is a photo manipulation of a few different references-as well as the tiny ship.
This is the comp before I move on to oil painting it on a large canvas by mid December.
