It references Atari ST era art by Darrel Anderson (Who did the C64 Neuromancer cover and is Atari St royalty for being the artist making Spectrum 512/Unispec shine) and Rick Berry, who has done numerable book covers, and is famous for the Neuromancer original book cover, done on an Atari ST, printed out and then painted over.
