This pic was for my 600 picture submission on DA. To "celebrate" I wanted to show off the DT-Fox from the beginning all the way to now.
As you can see the old one (at 14 years old) had anime hair, long cheek fur, a turquoise shirt, and was a more light orange/cream color. I have to admit the big hair and cheek fur was more of a cop-out plan to avoid having to draw the head of characters. Now that I've gotten better, my characters have had less outrageous hair styles.
The current version (at 18) is now brown, has a blue shirt (with the same signuature black blotch), and a more "realistic" hair style. Well it seems more like a fur design rather than a real hairstyle.
There was also a phase in the 4-5 years when DT-Fox had different fur colors for different seasons. It was fun, but a bit of a pain to keep up with.

That certainly is entertaining. I have a picture like this in my gallery, where the old version of my flagship character (who is actually "me") makes fun of my newer version. I was going to put a link up, but after reviewing the picture I think it would be best if I didn't. The picture is a year old in my gallery and though my style hasn't changed much since then; that particular picture seems so bad now.
I think I'll remake it, just to rival this picture.

Wow. Such devotion going through my gallery to check. I wouldn't recommend it, especially not my earlier pictures.
I am going to remake it, but forgot to do so last night while...working on things for my secret gallery...(ahem)...so I'll probably have it done by monday, and maybe other stuff too if I get around to it, considering I won't be using the computer over the weekend, par-usual.
