Mostly did it cuz i wanted a nice wallpaper of him, without the vector all the bumps from the packaging magnified and at hi-rez look to chaotic even for me .. too much for my wallpaper.
There was a similar , "GHOSTLY" Artherian character in the TMNT MAGAZINE comics ..tho' he was more humanoid. It does appear that the ghost was inspiration for this character.
He wasn't in the cartoons or other comics, no. Some characters ..as you may know are unique specifically to the toy line.
