[PKMN] Clefable Mage / Damon of the Pale Eyes
Alright, back to actually posting stuff here, XD
Anyways, it wouldn't be right to talk about the ancient Warstructs and leave out some of the prominent mortals who lived in that same era; Damon, a 29-year-old Mage, is one such mortal. The second eldest of five siblings living together in his hometown of Geosenge, Damon was naturally gifted in the magical arts even at a young age, and went on to pursue an education at the Magical School of Anistar, where he learned a special method of amplifying one's own power through self-applied Trance--in his case, it is triggered through the ringing of a uniquely-crafted Moon Bell whose sound is near-impossible to replicate. Combined with the Life Orb embedded into the pommel of his Stantler Horn Wand (and his Wonder Guard ability negating Life Orb's recoil), Damon proved himself to be a competent and powerful Mage by his second year at the age of 22, and he only continued improving from there.
Fast-forward to age 29, where he and his two brothers--Jeremiah the eldest, and Gavin the youngest--found themselves fighting for their lives and their home against a Warstruct invasion. All seemed to go well for the 3 Clefs, up until Gavin was slain by a Warstruct right before Damon and Jeremiah's eyes. What happened after that seemed all a blur to Damon, but once his Fury-induced Trance wore off, he found himself and Jeremiah battered and bruised on the battleground, moments away from being made to join their brother in the afterlife... and that would have been that had a mysterious force not enveloped them at that moment before flinging them both into the sky (along with many other warriors, probably, they weren't really paying attention). Whether it was due to their battle fatigue or the g-force of their flight, Damon and Jeremiah ended up passing out as they continued to soar sharply into the sky...
... the next moment that Damon had fully regained his senses, he found himself close to a crater, alongside a group of strange, apprehensive people, and the left side of his face stinging and throbbing something fierce, as if someone had slammed a full-grown Tauros against his face. According to the Primeape that was there, they had found Damon in the middle of the crater, having apparently crash-landed (and almost taking out the Smeargle and Electabuzz with the impact), but then Damon started to attack them for no apparent reason, appearing as though he were in a Trance all the while, so the group had to defend themselves. The fight proceeded until the Conkeldurr managed to strike Damon with a Wake-Up Slap strong enough to send Damon tumbling toward a nearby tree, which he would have slammed into had he not snapped out of his Trance in time to halt himself with Telekinesis. As the explanations (and apologies) continued, Damon found himself losing consciousness again, so the group opted to take him to the Primeape's home for the time being so that he could recover....
Some facts about Damon:
* In addition to magic, he also studied Pomology as his Minor Degree, using his knowledge of Berries to craft Medicine similar to modern-era Potions, Ethers, etc..
* His Moon Bell was crafted using a shard of Moon Stone (the same one he had used to evolve) as the clapper, and is usually tied to the end of his tail. To initiate his Trance State, Damon rings this Bell by carefully moving his hips and tail to a certain rhythm. The Trance State allows him to focus all his power into casting spells, but he often needs a "Keeper" to help him focus on enemies and avoid causing friendly-fire.
... however, the Moon Bell hasn't been seen since being thrown into the current era.
* He has a runic tattoo covering the majority of his body. It's often completely hidden underneath his clothing, but you can see what it looks like in this Twitter status. These tattoos act as a leyline, connecting his energies to his wand and tome while in his hands, and they glow while he's in his Trance State.
* Speaking of his wand and tome, they only possess power when he himself wields them--to anyone else, even another Mage from a different School of Magic, these items are useless.
* He's no stranger to physical labor and activity, so he's well-built for a Mage. He's also roughly 5'11" from the top of his head (not including his hair).
