Well here is your fursona finally, after how many months? O.o
I both love and feel kinda meh with how it turned out. I love the pose, the wings, the fur coloring, and even the fireball. I tried a lot of backgrounds with the pic, but to no avail, unfortunately. Oh well. Room for improvement on that part.
Anyway. I saw your character as a battle between both light and dark. I wanted to go for more of a calming look, yet a touch of deviousness, hence the wing coloration for the red and blacks as well as the fireball. Making viewers wonder what would become of the glowing orb in his paws. Being used for good or evil? Nobody knows! I can't really describe it, but that's what I wanted to create at the time. The wings weren't exactly the same colors as your ref drawing, but I think they turned out okay in the end.
Its been a while since I colored an entire drawing in...I think I need to keep working on it though. Bah whatevs.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy it. Thank you for letting me use your character as a ref drawing :D

Sorry it took me so long to comment on this, Ive been sick and I hardly wanna touch my computer after working on one all day :p.
Anyway this is real awesome. The fireball and the eyes look almost real if not supernatural in this medium. It reminds me of the addage of "playing with fire".
Im curious about the pose though...it almost appears as if he's sitting in the void.
Either way...its a great piece and I thank you for it. ^_^~

aw thanks! Yeah the sitting, I originally had this background planned out for it, but it didnt end up working out because of the lighting, so I figured this would work too lol
