So my husband's glasses broke and we need some help in getting him a new pair! We taped them back together for now,
but he unfortunately has a very strong prescription for his glasses & would benefit greatly in getting a new pair altogether.
$900 is a ballpark estimate for now and I will adjust the goal amount once we know for sure
(which will be some time tomorrow evening) we're basing it off of our roomie's prescription which was close to 600 and their glasses were a lot weaker than my husband's.

That reminds me a lot of how much my old prescription sunglasses cost; they were between $600-$700 independent of any exam. Some of it was the need for high tint and reflective coating, to increase the tint since at the time you could not get a very strong tint with a prescription and the reflective coat sort of doubles the tint effect. Couldn't use weak sunglasses due to migraines, when you need less bright you NEED less bright.
Unfortunately despite having an Umbreon char... I didn't feel any stronger when I wore them.
