The Wreckers' new mascot, Lil P
Their former mascot, Mr. Buzzles, became too stressed living in The Wreckers' confined dorm, so Quinn brought him back to live on her parents' beekeeping farm. Mascotless, The Wreckers...well just sorta kept trucking because even though Mr. Buzzles had been beloved by most, him parting company with the team wasn't devastating.
But then one day, while Cicero was wandering around the city, he chanced across an abandoned, oddly-colored Pichu with a frayed collar with no name or address on it - just a single Everstone. The Pichu was clearly malnourished, so Cicero hurried it to the nearest Pokemon Center for care.
While the Pichu recovered, the staff at the Pokemon Center checked to see if he was microchipped. Dismayed to find out that he hadn't been, Cicero takes it upon himself to ask around for anybody who may have lost their beloved pet.
After two weeks with no luck, Cicero finally gave up. He had been checking on the Pichu daily and it had made a full recovery - bouncing and cheerful and full. When the staff at the Pokemon Center said that, without an owner, he would just go to a shelter, Cicero chose instead to adopt his small friend.
Naming him Lil P, Cicero found a smaller version of his own shades and gave them to the excited Pichu. He then brought Lil P to the Wreckers' dorm and he has since become the team's new mascot.
---
The idea of Lil P hit me very suddenly during a stream today, and I decided I had to follow through. I think you can blame Smash Bros for causing this interest (Pichu is rad to play as and super cute), and The Wreckers were the most obvious choice to get this gift.
In the Academy, teams are only allowed to have one mascot. Spitfire has Tali, Math'n'Shit has Anatole, and Wrought Iron has one that I haven't introduced yet. So even if Mr. Buzzles hadn't had to leave, then Cicero would not have been able to bring Lil P to the dorm. Serendipitous.
