AS WITH ALL THE ART IN MY GALLERY I DID NOT DRAW THIS - THIS WAS DRAWN BY That-Orka-Cat!

Sooo- I was looking for this piece to show to someone, and I couldn't find it in my gallery. o.o Upon scrubbing through my whole gallery I realized- I never uploaded it! Not sure why, as this is one of my all time favorite pieces, for real. x.x
So anyway! Here's a really amazing older commission from the wonderful That-Orka-Cat! They drew a two page comic page scene of Red XIII and Lu coming upon Red's petrified father. If you're not familiar with Final Fantasy VII (the game that Red XIII is from), Red XIII (aka Nanaki)'s was raised believing his father Seto was a coward and had abandoned his family and hometown when they needed him most. In reality, he had faced an army alone, and been shot full of petrification arrows. It's never expressly stated, but heavily implied in the game that Seto is still alive, trapped in the stone (I always wondered why they couldn't just use a 'Soft' on him, but whatever ;p ).
ANYWAY. All that explanation aside- this gorgeously drawn scene shows Red seeing his father trapped in stone, and realizing the truth. And Lu's there to try to give him what comfort she can.
Really guys. I LOVE this. As many of you are already aware, FFVII is my alltime favorite game, and the scene in the game where Red learns the truth of his father (watch it here if you're interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihCEkJywsRY ). Which just makes this absolutely gorgeous piece all the more meaningful to me.
luloveplz The expressions are all so excellent, and it's SO cool to see an up close image of Seto. That-Orka-Cat absolutely did an amazing job on this. :')
