Oh noo, Chyena, don't cry ;w; I want to hug her until she feels better, and possibly even spend the night together with her, comforting her, grooming her until she falls asleep comfortably. She's such a sweetie, and I want her to be happy!

I really wish I had Netflix, because I haven't seen the movie myself >w< I don't know what birds symbol, so I'm a bit lost for the context here; but it can't be good, judging by her expression.

But I like how the picture looks, again with the amazing backgrounds with you. I like the ambiguous background; I see trees, but they aren't very clear. I'd think what it would be to have yourself being blindfolded: not being able to see the trees, but you know they're there - so they aren't as clear. And the mist/dark area symbols the deprivation of sight, and I think that fits very well.
Chyena looks pretty as usual, and I like what you've done with the pose and expression. The ears are tilted as a sign of submission for the situation - like you said - all she can do now is just wait. And to add to that effect, the paw trying to reach out for her companion, but unable to reach, but still hopeful (or desperate).

...I don't know if it's just me, but it kinda seems like I can see her eyes through the blindfolds. Might be just my brain tricking me <w>

The bird part, it's because in the movie, when the birds make noises, mean, the shadows are close, and if they shadow are close, mean . . . death T^T.
It's not the best movie ever, but it's good. But, if you didn't enjoy it, I'm sure you will think it's a boring movie. It's similar like the "It" movie style.

Thanks a lot for your comment, the background is totally inspired by the movie, the part when the little child get in the forest and hear the shadow coming. I put some extra feature, and the detail of she crying begging for help, and for her partner come back, because she is listening to the birds making noises, and she now, what that mean.

The eyes? actually, could be, when I draw her, I draw the eyes to be sure I put the blindfold in the right part.

I'm glad you enjoy this simple image, I'm working in other draws, but I wanted to do something inspired by that movie, I enjoyed it.
