(do you like me A:yes, B:No?)
AAAH! Hi Mr. Branco, how are you?
*blushes furiously at her teacher*
*shrugging*
*smiles innocently at the teacher when he finally looks back*
prolly true :D
I'm taking online courses right now, and I graduated from HS 7 years ago XD
my husband completed HS, but never got his diploma. The school claimed he couldn't graduate until he paid for a book he never even -had- in the first place, since he never returned it to the library. Ridiculous, eh?
He keeps saying "yea, I'll get my GED" but he's 32 now and the ged is a no-show :|
his old boss never had one and was a manager, and now he's a manager, so there's really no incentive
I also love the hardware aspect (dad was an engineer, mom likes programming -- go figure!), though building is more my thing, not so much soldering and the like.
aaand of course I'd take bunches of creative classes :) putting the creative side of my mind to use is always fun :D
how bout you?
I have a six month old wee one, and I'm still doing the college thing, just more cut back than I used to. What obstacles are you facing to going to school? *bounces*
I'm taking online courses to get my A+, that's fun. My best-buddy Brendan's birthday present for me (sept was my b-day) was art classes for both of us, but we won't be able to start until January when the new semester begins. We'll be taking drawing classes :D I hope to get better at faces, among other things =^.^=
the only real obstacle is time. I work part-time, but managed to snag a few extra hours by offering to work m-f instead of m-th (they wanted me there 5 days, but I wasn't willing to work one half day). :D
I work in tech support, so I'm in a field I want to be in anyway. That's half the battle, yes? :)
Where do you work? I was a manager of Geek Squad before I had my baby
then I got sick (literally) constantly (basically a warehouse type area with the only other worker ALWAYS HOT when it was the middle of winter and I was freezing, bleh!). After that I asked my best buddy (who I met while working at fry's) to get me a job somewhere else, and he was working for liteon (liteonamericas.com). lo and behold, I work for liteon now. :D I'm a "lead" and a "trainer" (it's a very slowly moving facility -- opened in 2004/2005, and hasn't really advanced much). lol :P
