I was re-uploading my animations to yet another video hosting site today when I realised I'd never submitted this one to FurAffinity. So ....
A short animation created a few years ago in Poser 6, using DAZ's toon gecko figure.
I may well re-do it someday, correcting the footwork and making a better version of the Hawaiian shirt. It was something of a rush job to celebrate the figure's release, and I was never that happy with how the cloth-sim turned out, anyway.
If you're having trouble with the Flash player, it's also viewable on YouTube and Stagevu (albeit at lower quality), and at VReel.

I use an old application called Moyea Flash Video MX, which can re-encode an AVI clip as Flash video, then wrap a skinnable video player around it in a tidy SWF package.

Most of this was motion capture, though I tweaked the keyframes a bit to better suit the figure. If I'd had more time, I would have put more effort into animating the hands and feet properly.
The tail, facial expressions, and camera were keyframed manually.
I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it. You're not alone, either ... it's apparently my most popular YouTube submission now, scoring over a thousand hits per day.

I am aware of how much work still needs to go into motion capture anmations. Some people think is as easy as a click and go. Lot of tweaking to get it to work just right with other figures. You did a great job and adding the dynamics to his shirt really helps with the believability. :)
