I really had hoped to get this closer to finished, but I've run out of time. God I'm slow... ^^;
Hopefully I'll still do some work on it later :)
Happy birthday, sweetie! <3

They are, actually. Tho believe it or not, I've had this idea since before the Matrix (or at least, before I saw it, but I'm pretty sure also before it came out).
Basically, Rahkaii liken Existence to a huge computer; their gods are like programmers and administrators; and the Rahkaii themselves are like programmers and local admin.

If you haven't read it yet, you should read the Young Wizards series by Diane Duane. It has the best magic system ever, based around the premise that there is a special "code of life" that can be written and spoken, and that everything in the universe is written in it. The code doubles as a language, and if you can "persuade" an object to be something different, its code will change (creating new behavior).
Examples are when a character persuades a cloud to hold together tight enough to walk on, channels the energy from an old battery into warping half an hour back in time, and convinces a bathroom door that it's actually a portal to the surface of mars.
Seriously it's amazing how reusable the universe's code is, according to this author, and it's all a matter of knowing what method to call and how to do it politely. You should read it.

You did a wonderful job drawing this one! I love the wholly contented look on Stel's face, and just how pretty much everything was drawn. Only thing I see that seems kinda weird are the hands, but those are a pain in the ass so that's okay :P
At first I wondered if the code was just HTML that you view source'd on some website to gather, but upon looking a bit closer at it I'm inclined to think it's actual programming code. Whatever it is, I must know! Please enlighten us :)
And last but not least, happy birthday Tora!
