I've found that if you observe how 'senior' artists go through their process you can pick up neat little tricks and tools to paint faster. It's a great way to make your time more efficient and converse on "art MP" so you can do that second pass before you run out of "meter."

And the experimentation and gaining new skills and processes is inherently fun, so you can regain some "art MP" along the process anyways. I know I get excited and giddy when I figure out something mid-painting.
