So...this was slightly inspired by the game The Solus Project/The Ball, which resulted in the creation of a new character.
So, this is Lycum, a Cobradilian (basically an alien i made up). He is a reptilian alien from another dimension that has gone extinct due to slavery from another, more advanced, also now extinct species called Precursors. These Precursors enslaved the less advanced Cobradilian species (who in that dimension are as advance as us now) and used them as labor or as foot soldiers/bodyguards. However the Precursors excessive use of the species has caused the species to die out. In the meantime the Precursors were also dying out from a disease and soon, a handful of surviving Precursors sealed themselves inside a Vault housed in a wind turbine and strung up Lycum, their last Cobradilian soldier, to a piece of rafter to scare off any threats.
Sadly for the Precursors, the disease got to them and they perished, leaving Lycum, barechested and alone, unable to get help due to his intimidating looks. That is until Ken went dimension hopping, leading to this event, where the mischievous young dragon meets the, now slightly feral, alien. So...story time XD.
Ken's POV
The young dragon wandered the rocky alien landscape, determined to find something interesting on this planet. He had gotten bored and decided to hop into an adjacent dimension for some adventure, ending up on this alien planet, whos sun scorches its rocky surface. Analysis of ruins on the planet indicate a highly advanced race once living here along with what seems like large, bipedal reptilian creatures, probably used for slaves.
Despite this, nothing much else has caught the dragon's eye, having seen buildings of better architecture and tech than this in his dimension. "Roar!!!..." A loud, terrifying roar sounded out from what seems like a wind turbine, erected on a hill. While the roar was certainly frightening, his curiosity overwhelmed his fear.
"Looks like i got quite a hike than..." Ken says as he begins hiking towards the turbine.
Lycum's POV
The massive Cobradilian had let out his usual morning roar, definitely not looking forward to another day of starvation. Lycum couldn't help but wonder how he survived for so long...than again Cobradilians are known to be rather hardy creatures. But the torment and mental torture that they have put Lycum and his species thru has taken its toll. as far as Lycum knew, he was the last one left, those bastard Precursors tying him up to this steel rod in this structure to be some guard dog. All they left him were his combat pants and boots from his time as a soldier, both has taken a massive beating from the elements. Sadly, that, the starvation and lack of company has made him rather feral, his tortured mind reverting to its primal state. Lycum could barely remember the last time he had been part of a decent society, his memories slipping away just like his consciousness as his body try's to save energy.
However, Lycum was jarred out of the state by the scent of something foreign, and it was getting closer.
Ken's POV
As the dragon climbed the last flight of steps, a loud roar almost sent him tumbling down the same steps he just climbed. "Damn...that was loud.." Ken thought to himself as the roar continues with the occasional sound of jaws snapping shut. The dragon had just needed to turn the corner to find the source, coming from a massive scalie beast hung from a beam in the roof.
The beast wasn't wearing much, its tough chest bare with some scarring most likely caused by whips. Its lower half was thankfully covered by a pair of once black combat pants, the color seems to have lightened from the elements. The pants were also ripped around the bottom part, probably from wear and tear. A rather strange belt holds the creature's pants up, made from a smooth fabric like material with a metal buckle that has a skull on it, the skull piece trailing some of the same belt fabric. The creatures feet are also encased in a pair of battered, simple looking, yet massive combat boots.
As Ken analysed the creature further, determining it to be a extinct species of intelligent reptiles, said reptile had continued to snarl, roar and snap its jaws at him. "Looks like all this torment has made you feral...what a poor thing." Ken says only to get a roar in the face. "Wow..rude.." the dragon commented before pondering his next actions. While it would be wrong to not let the creature free, he certainly does not want to be mauled by said creature.
Plus said creature is tied up and in boots, and Ken certainly can't skip out on this opportunity.
As Ken gets behind the reptile, the alien, sensing some form of danger, starts growling. "Looks like at least you still have some intelligence in you, lets see what i can do to you." Ken says as he faces the soles of those battered old boots, dried mud still in the threads. "Well lets get to work."
Lycum's POV
As the sound of fabric tearing reaches his ears, Lycum couldn't help but yelp and struggle at whats going on. Both he and his currently feral state of mind knows the importance of legs and hence Lycum tries to put on his most intimidating display, growling and snarling. But it seems it has no effect on his little intruder, who has continued to tear his soles from heel to tip. Soon he could feel the cool air on his paws, a feeling he had..honestly quite missed ever since his enslavement. "Now lets see if you guys are ticklish too" his intruder says brandishing four long feathery things. It took a few second for him to get whats going on but by than the tickle session was under way.
The reptile didn't even stand a chance, a series of loud barks and snarls coming out of his snout as soon as those feathers start wiggling on his foot. Lycum couldn't believe this was happening, his mind being slightly overwhelmed by this new yet familiar treatment, it was just like a feeling he felt way back when he was younger....
Slowly as the session continued, the memories of his past started returning somehow to Lycum's head, as if the tickling was jogging his memory (which it is somehow), and with that his feral-ness started to fade, his animal like laughing giving way to a more normal laugh, and soon a proper plea. "S..stop!! Please!!" Lycum spoke in words for the first time in years. "Oh so you do talk" his intruder stopped, coming in front of him to face him. "I...well..wasn't in the right frame of mind i guess...its been so long.." Lycum says. "Well regardless, now that i know you aren't some animal, let me get you down. I'm Ken by the way" The strange creature introduced himself as he got to cutting the restrains on his arms. Soon the restraints are released and Lycum drops to the ground, landing on his exposed feet with a thud. "Well thanks Ken," Lycum replies as well as introduce himself.
"Nice to meet you Lycum," Ken replies with a warm smile,"I'm eager to know more about you but how bout we do it at somewhere...nicer" Lycum chuckles, first one in a long time,"Yea please." And with that, a new life has begun for this Cobradilian.
Short story but hope its okay, enjoy the small 'comic strip' and story
