The Diragons were created by the goddess Fraclóma, 1 of the 10 gods of existence.
Her strength was by far the strongest, and was of the more adventurous sort.
Her domain was love, beauty, passion, destruction, terror, and death.
Her sense of love is the driving force of most mortals, even though she is left unsatisfied herself.
Beauty is her sense of perfection, the god of creation doesn't understand this, so creatures he make evolve, never getting perfect.
Her sense of passion makes Fraclóma a wildcard, as it allow her to intrude on other gods domains.
These 3 was why and how she created the Diragons.
Destruction is her magical attribute, kinda like a fingerprint, one she leave on all creatures she create.
Terror is what her presence is like, so overwhelming that even the other gods do not usually to dare cross her will.
Death, she managers the souls of all who die and shall live, in every world she has visited, thru a part of her, known as the soul-forge.
There are different types of souls for different creatures, the souls are like batteries, most are empty when they return, filled with memories and experience, they are cleansed, given new energy, and sent back out to their next life. There are however some souls that doesn't know they are dead, usually those who have more power left, or are clinging to something material, these souls soon start feeling hunger, and prey upon other things with souls to prolong their life, becoming wraiths of different types... Fraclóma has armed forces to stop these invisible monsters, they are known as reapers. She is also able to cleanse an entire world by sending out an endless army of spirits that will end all life they come in contact with... ironically she hate killing, and it makes her hate herself for hundreds of thousands of years.
Fraclóma was tired of the other gods inability to change things, always repeating the same cycle, so finally, she created her own creature, the diragon, the ancestor of both dragons and terrocks.
They would be as she wanted them to be, to reflect her...
The rulers of land and sky, loyal to their codes, putting a lot of value on pride, and honor, to be caring and loving, even towards creatures they view as inferior, free-minded, but very wise, their spiritual belief rely on living life to its fullest, and have no concept of gods. Like Fraclóma, they don't like killing unless it is out of necessity like hunting food or protecting family. Their magic has Fraclóma's attribute, which mean that any magic they use destroy something in the process, other than that, they can from the moment they learn to harness this magical power, choose what it destroy, and what magical effects they will specialize in. Since their core is destruction, and Fraclóma doesn't often share her magic, they are easily the strongest beings on the count of magic.
Their size is slightly bigger than the previously biggest being, and their strength thereafter.
They lived for about 2000 years, and pared up for life once a pare mated for eggs, only splitting up if another diragon won in a fight for the right to mate, or one of the paired died.
Once every 100 000 years, they would all instinctively migrate to a mountain that reached higher than any of them could fly, once there, they would as a collective be able to change certain things about themselves, being able to learn the spoken language of other races was one of the things they gained, later, a language of their own, and writing after that.
As secretive and not to social as a race, their language became so advanced that no one other than another of the species could understand, even less so speak it.
They were Fraclóma's passion and love, but as she was occupied with them, another goddess, Thifala, the goddess over, chaos, corruption, hate and despair, also started getting interested in the powerful beings, created by Fraclóma, and started her own project.
Fraclóma was shocked as over 2/3 of her beautiful Diragons mutated. And they gained the magical fingerprint of Thifala as well, corruption.
Fraclóma burst out in anger, towards the other goddess, and banished Thifala to a random dead world, where the dark goddess would spend a very long time on finding the way back.
However, the damage was already done, and Fraclóma couldn't reverse the damage. In fact, things only got worse, they corruption spread, and they grew more savage.
Crying out in fear of losing her beloved Diragons, Fraclóma utilized the powers of creation, to create an entirely new world, one only she would know where to find.
However, this process takes incredibly long so she used another gods power of time, to speed things up.
As she waited impatiently for things to be ready for her diragons, she took all the pure ones and put them to sleep on the sacred mountain, shielded from the world they lived.
As time passed, she discovered that life had started on its own on a tiny little planet, in the world she created, she decided then and there that her special diragons should belong in a world, where no gods had a say.
But before she could send them, the dark goddess returned from the banishment, and she enjoyed the former diragons, which had been renamed terrocks.
Thifala picked up where she left off, and continued her corruption.
Luckily, the dark goddess didn't care to take more Diragons, and rather focused on the terrocks.
Fraclóma used this time to transport her beloved Diragons to the new world, to make sure they would stay, she made three major changes to them.
First, they retained no memory of their former home, only knowing that this was a new home.
Second, their size were too big for this world to sustain, so she made it so they shrunk to about a third the size.
And lastly locking their current magic to their bloodlines.
In addition, she renamed them, dragons...
Fraclóma abandoned the old world so she might keep her creation safe.
The picture is of a family of Diragons, the golden one is the father, the blue and silver one is the mother, the biggest of the offspring is having its first attempt on magic.
