xD I guess, but the reason they drilled into my head (as someone who works mostly from her head), say ou are drawing...a horse. Even if you are drawing a very cartooney version of a horse, there are little details that you might see on a real horse that might help you give your drawing more life and stuff. And at first I was like, waaah, I hate reference! but now I can't get along without it. x3
Ohhhh, well yeah, drawing from a photo or drawing 100% accurately is good practice, but for your own drawings, yeah, it's good to try to come up with your own poses and such. Which is what I did here, but, I didn't even have one image of donald to refer to, or anything, which is what they told me not to do in art classes xD
