The first master study of a course i'm taking for the next 8 weeks. I get one hour to do these studies each day. Today i chose a work by Pieter van Bloeman. I know its not furry but hell i thought it turned out really good and would love to see some thoughts on this study. Plus it helps with the whole confidence thing.

Your arms are two different sizes and the textures aren't as refined, other proportions are a little uneven compared to the one on the left, it's not bad though, just a little rough is all. You'll only get better with the texture blending. At least you didn't have to draw a face, well not yet anyway.
I won't be doing texture study for a bit. The objective for week one is understand the lines, curves, marks, and shapes used. I'm not allowed to erase, use gesture, or a skeleton. Here's to hoping that my observational drawing skill gets better though cause the proportions bug the hell out of me xD
