I know, I know, yet another sketch... I'm sorry, but I've been very busy in the past days, and didn't have time to do more than lowly sketches! Now that I have some days of freedom I finally started working on the new page, and a few other things if I can. ^^
That said, I'm pretty damn happy about the result here, if I have to be honest!
If you read my comic, you may have recognized this guy as the mercenary that appeared in the last pages. His name is Badhir, and he's a Herimash - Ajshar hybrid (they are the two feline species of my setting). Because of this he was ostracized by both groups, and since he had a hard time finding a respectable job he decided to become a mercenary and killer for hire, and he's VERY good at it, a real professional!
He doesn't have any family, since being an hybrid makes him sterile, and his closest friends are the other members of his small mercenary team.

Really good,i've made big pieces of art that doesn't come close to the level of this sketch.
Great work as always.
Also, pardon me if i'm being a bit intrusive, but how do you manage to get so many views only doing traditional art? it seems i rarely get more than 20 viewss per post if even that at all.
You don't need to answer if it bothers you, i'm just curious and trying to learn more.

Thank you so much! Glad you liked it! ^^
Sorry, not sure what you mean with "only doing traditional art". Does traditional art get less attention than digital normally? Just asking because I'm genuinely curious about it.
In any case, I don't know what to answer, to be honest. I have quite a bunch of followers on Deviantart, and many of them followed me here on FA as well when I joined, so that gave me a head start for sure.
Aside that, I haven't really done much to aside posting new drawings quite frequently and trying to reply to as many comments as I can.
I think one of the reasons my work got all this attention is because there are not many artists that draw historically accurate (or at least plausible) fantasy scenarios with anthros. It was an almost empty niche, if that makes sense.

I see...
The "only doing traditional art" thing is because I heard that traditional art gets less attention than digital usually, I couldn't confirm it with 100% sure but it did make me think that it was true enough to make some sort of difference. I guess it's more of me thinking too much and reaching a bit crazy conclusion.
And guess i should branch to other sites as well, perhaps even deviantart, and perhaps post more often too.
I also noticed that your historically accurate stuff is definitely something that calls attention, it gives an identity to your work, I think my work doesn't really have one...
Anyway, thank you so much for the responding, this is something I've been questioning myself for months already but I never dared to ask anyone about it (I don't like sounding like I'm jealous of somebody's work just because they get more attention) you really helped me a lot more than you think.
Keep up your fantastic work.

Whoa, what a kittie! Bad kittie! Amazing work on armor and details, as always! It is clear that it is a violent cruel bastard. See him in hell!
It is so cool to hear that the next page will be soon! Good luck!
I understand the things about money and copyright. Don't worry - I'm not inteested in money. I just want to create a cool thing and to spread the word about your world. Creating the game may take years just as your comic. The rules is the easiest oart to do. But testing the game, making art, developing, finding money for publishing, distribution...This is a huge work. Now I only spend some of my free time thinking about rules. I have only some unclear ideas what the game would look like. I'd like to tell you these ideas and to discuss them.
By the way, I have finished rules for another board game which we are making with friends. I can describe it as "a steampunk treasure hunt on a minefield". Looks like multiplayer game of minesweeper, to say the least. We hope to make a prototype and test it during summer.
And now I'm reading our Russian superhero comics. You may have heard about them, published by Bubble comics. Yeah, Russian superhero comics. But not only superhero. For example, "Meteora" is a space opera, about a band of smugglers: Meteora - a pink-haired girl, Ziggy - a space hamster and engineer and Push - a big human-like cat with muscles, guns and charisma. And he is also a heir of the throne! It reminds you about someone we know and love, doesn't it?)
I highly reccomend you all these comics. And not for patriotic reasons because I'm Russian! They're just cool and may inspire you. There are several series about different genres and characters. "Major Grom" is about a policeman from St. Petersburg. There is also a short (25 min) film about him, a comedy about bank robbery. It was the first attemt to make a film based on Bubble comics. And the full movie based on the first part of the comic will be released this autumn. And not only in Russia but in the USA and Europe!
Check all that stuff someday! You won't regret, I bet!

I would rather see a thousand of your beautiful sketches, than nothing at all, this is fantastic. This outfit, is one of my favorites of his crew. I love the gambeson, it has such a distinct, medieval look and style, yet, looks so comfortable. It's a article of clothing that sees much use in the far west, new world in my own work, though, with some versions having more modern updates, to make them more practical in those settings.
Love your work, and it's fantastic to see these characters, who I felt were a bit neglected so far, appear again, I hope to see more of them.
It's a interesting bit of info that hybrids are infertile, I didn't know that, rather interesting and imaginative update.
