Everyone was silent, and Kyo, the Blue Inkling couldn't blame them.
Everyone was looking at the black falcon, who was snickering to himself.
"Yup, all along, I was the one behind Dharkon. You think I wouldn't have taken advantage of Galeem's fall? You guys should all know by now that I'm a god with the power of darkness. Especially you, "o Goddess of Light."
Palutena huffed at the comment sent her way.
"There's quite a lot I've done. Every, Single. One. Of you. I've played a part of making your lives Hell. I'm connected to all of you, so that's why I took the liberty to merge all of our worlds together. Call me a puppetmaster, for your lives have all been played with by me. I am Falco Lombardi, Envoy of Chaos! I'm not just some petty space pirate from Lylat."
He chuckled, floating above the ground while holding his scythe.
"I will give credit where credit is due though; this has been very entertaining. I live for chaos, so for something such as Galeem to come out of nowhere and attempt to imprison us all; it just put a smile on my face. Even after Dharkon fell and Galeem came right back. So many twist and turns; how enjoying it was!"
Falco's chuckle soon turned to maniacal laugh.
"Oh ho, even though I wasn't able to regain the powers that Palutena and the Hands stole from me long ago, this has been quite the experience, and the powers I have gained might come in handy for what chaos I'll spread next. However..."
That said, Falco rushed towards Kyo, swinging his scythe at him, but the Inkling quickly dodged and summoned his Great Eagle Bow, holding it in front of him.
"I severely underestimated you, Inkling." He growled. "Even when your powers were stripped away, and you only had those paint toys of yours, you still managed to take down the forces of Galeem and Dharkon. Just what are you?"
"I'm Revali's Disciple, that's what." Kyo replied. "And trust me, us Inklings are way stronger than you think. I can make just about any weapon work."
The avian chuckled again.
"Cute." He replied. "Tell me this then, what is it that drives you? After you guys beat Galeem, I managed to separate you from the others by sucking you into the Dark World. I led you towards Incineroar, who is your enemy that I knew you'd be hesitant to free, yet you still did."
"It's what a hero does." The blue inkling replied. "Yeah, I hate Incineroar, but you were the bigger threat. Seeing how you took control of everything Galeem left at the time. You told me yourself as Dharkon: 'If by some chance you do beat me, I'll still have Incineroar as a vessel, as for he's the only one with heart as dark as mine.'. If I had left Incineroar with you, then that would mean that there would basically be two of you. One Dharkon was more than enough, just like one of you is more than enough."
Falco chuckled again, his smile returning.
"What a 'hero' does, huh? Your hatred for evil and rationality are quite admirable."
"And now it's my turn to ask a question." Kyo replied, interrupting the black avian's chuckling. "You said that we're all connected to you, and that you've played a part of making trouble in all of our lives. What do you mean by that?"
The Falcon shrugged, chucking again.
"It's exactly what it sounds like~" He replied. "But I guess I could give a few examples, starting with yourself."
Falco's body started radiating black and red as his smile grew and turned more into an insane, evil grin.
"That Octoling friend of yours; the yellow one."
Kyo froze a little.
The Inkling didn't like where this was going, and was kinda afraid to hear what the avian was going to say.
"D-Duncan?" The inkling shuddered a little. "What about him?"
"Hehehe... Heh... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!"
Once again, Falco's snickering had gone on full maniacal laugh, and to say that was disconcerning for Kyo would be an understatement.
Given about a minute, Falco's laugh subdued, and he began rubbing his fingers along the blade of his scythe.
"Only you and him know the secret of Delga's past."
That statement made every nerve in Kyo's body jolt into overdrive. That was something that no one was supposed to know but them.
"Kyo..."
That voice came from Kio, the Orange Inkling Girl standing beside him.
"Secret of Delga's past? What does he mean?"
"I'm afraid that's a question that is best left unanswered."
That reply came from Palutena, who had stepped forward.
"After all, it was I who saved that poor dragon from his fate." The goddess explained. "I wiped his memories and sent him to Inkopolis, where I knew he would be safe."
"Or you assumed." Falco cut in. "I was the one who subjected that dragon to his fate by putting him in that world of torment. I also was the one who gave the power to the residents of that world who 'favored' Delga, to come to Inkopolis to retrieve him."
Falco chuckled again.
"Don't lie to me Kyo, you must have thought about Him, when you saw Dharkon for the first time. Black, a single eye, shapeshiftier? You couldn't have not thought about Him."
Just of the thought made the male inkling shiver, and that was not including the fact that he was already shaking from the information.
Falco was behind Delga's past...
"I suppose that proof should suffice~ I'm glad I managed to get that off my chest." He said with an obviously fake sigh of relief. "I will say though, I wasn't expecting for Duncan to seal that demon away, as well as for Delga to murder that lion and minotaur. Even without his memories, the grudge deep in his heart drove him to eliminate those who had made him suffer."
"No, that's wrong!" Kyo shouted, pointing his finger at Falco. "Delga did not kill them because he had a grudge; Delga killed them because as a Guardian, he knew they were a threat to Inkopolis. He's not some cold-blooded killer, driven by revenge."
The black falcon shrugged again, putting his hands in front of him as if faking a surrender.
"Fine, fine, whatever you say." He replied nonchalantly. "Enough about this though; I'm growing bored, and have chaos to spread. After all the fun we've had these last few months, I have no interest in the Smash competition this time, so consider my entry a forfeit."
"We're not done with you!" Kyo shouted.
"Correction: We're done, but I'm not."
That voice had come from none other than Incineroar, who had stepped out of the crowd and approached Falco.
Kyo was confused, but all of a sudden, a sinking feeling rose from his stomach.
"I was wondering when you would step forward." Falco said. "You didn't need to keep me waiting. You wish the join me; to gain the power to accomplish your goal of killing the Solgaleo from your world and taking his mate as your own to torment him in the afterlife."
Incineroar let out his own evil chuckle, also shrugging.
"Didn't know I was that easy to read." The red feline replied.
"As I said, you're the only one here with heart as dark as mine. I know your desires. Assist me in causing the chaos I desire. We'll create one single world where chaos is law, and you shall rule as my second; your deepest desires shall be yours as long as you serve me."
"Incineroar!!!" Kyo called out. "What are you doing? You're not actually going to trust this guy, are you?"
Incineroar let out a sigh.
"My apologies, Aladar."
The tiger then cleared his throat.
"Kyo."
The inkling couldn't help but gasp a little.
That was the first time Incineroar actually referred to him by his name.
"I'm afraid our alliance is over now. I had no interest in becoming your friend or ally; I only issued a cease-fire between us because working together against Dharkon was in my best interest at that point. You know as well as I do what I want. Dharkon even told you what you would risk in setting me free."
Incineroar then turned around and looked at the Inkling.
"Any bonds that you may have made with me were only temporary. Don't act like you didn't expect me to betray you."
Kyo's body began shaking again. Those words had hurt him, but he knew Incineroar was right.
Before he could reply though, Incineroar spoke again.
"Let me guess: you know you're correct, that you knew I would betray you. However, you wanted so badly to be wrong, that you made a friend of me, and would have possibly changed me."
The feline shook his head.
"Sorry, but no dice. You may be an Aladar, Kyo, but you're not the Aladar I want. Funny, because if you were, I just might have changed. However, I will not lie to you, and can say I did enjoy our time together."
He then sighed, and Kyo couldn't tell if it was genuine or not.
"Such a shame too. I'm afraid the next time we meet, only one of us might walk away alive that day..."
"Ta ta!!!"
That said, with one swing of his scythe, Falco created a dark flash, causing the room to go pitch black for a minute, and when the light returned, Falco and Incineroar were gone.

Antagonist!!!
Yeah, Falco's been on my bad guy list for a while. (Keep in mind that I have two Falcos: This one, and Blu, the "good" Falco)
Yeah, I actually only thought about making Falco this all-power evil god of chaos a few weeks ago, and I gotta say it really suits him~
Also little comment about World of Light.
It may not be as good as Subspace from Brawl, but I really enjoyed it because playing as my favorite characters (Mostly Inkling and Incineroar), I felt like I was making my own story as I played through the game.
