Redemptor Dreadnought and HH Salamanders Tactical Squads
The fruits of a productive weekend.
I started the redemptor dreadnought a few months ago without any real thought as to what I wanted to do with it, and with other projects and military courses on the go at the time I held off on completing it. Recently, due in part to a mid-year goal of building up to around 2000pts of Salamanders for Horus Heresy, I figured it was about time I got as many of my pre-existing model projects out of the way as well.
All weapon options on the dreadnought are magnetized, and the dynamic pose was made possible with minimal work to the original kit.
Not to be outdone, I finished assembly of the first 2 ten-man tactical squads of my Salamanders army shortly afterward using two boxes of Mark III space marines (I'm reserving Mark IV kits for specialists and veterans).

Nah, I like my creepy but nice guys with a thing for helping people. And fire friendship.
Besides, this army's playing double-duty for 40k and Horus Heresy, and the wargamers I run with for the latter are absolute sticklers on canon lore.
