🌿 COMMISSION PRICES FOR 2019!!! 🌿

My name is Shiloh, and I am a part-time high school and college tutor looking to use my art to stabilize my income! I love doing commission work, and I have a lot of fun communicating with clients and producing artwork that meets their needs. Any and all boosting this gets is greatly appreciated!

What do I draw?

My comfortable subject areas include:
● Animals, monsters, and furries of any species (closed species may cost extra), and humans.
● Scenes of nature such as forests, mountains, bodies of water, and skyscapes.
● Blood, action, and violence at the PG-13 level

Subjects that are less comfortable to me:
● Manmade objects: detailed armor or mechanical parts, guns, vehicles, urban settings, unusual architecture. This may cost extra.
● Clothed pinup art (but I would be willing to try)
● Extreme violence and non-sexual gore at the R level. This will cost extra.

I will not draw sexual artwork, kink/fetish artwork, or offensive/insensitive material. I reserve the right to turn down commissions that I see fit.

Process:

● Contact me at one of my listed sites. Tell me your desired commission type and concept, or ask questions about what I can do, and feel free to send references if applicable. We will settle on a price for what you want, and will send you a Paypal invoice.
● I will send progress updates to make sure the commission is what you want, starting with a sketch.
***●*** If your commission is in watercolor, the final sketch is the only time I can make significant changes to layout, poses, expressions, etc. I may be able to make changes to colors after I begin working, but there is far less ability to change the product than digital artwork.
● I am more than happy to make alterations to artwork within reason, especially digital art. Feel free to let me know about potential issues; however, serious reworks, such as scrapping and restarting a drawing, may cost extra.
● For character designs, once the lines are to your liking, I will send a few colors/patterns to your specifications - usually 3, but perhaps more.
● Sketches have a quick turnaround; other commission types may take a week or two depending on my schedule due to work. If something comes up that may delay your commission, I will let you know as soon as possible. If you so desire, I am happy to give a 50% refund and finish the commission for you, or do additional artwork for you to make up for the delay.
● I reserve the right to post my art. Please let me know if you would like to remain anonymous when my art is shared. Please also let me know if you would not like art done for you to be used to promote my commissions.
● You are welcome to repost my art done for you, and you are welcome to sell designs bought from me for the price of the original commission or less, unless it comes with additional artwork (please feel free to add the value of any art you get).
● If you are purchasing traditional art, such as a painting or marker drawing, you may have it shipped to you but tell me in advance if you are thinking of having me ship it
● Communication Is Key! The more you are willing to collaborate and answer questions, the more likely I am to produce art you like! Please give me as much information as you have about the type of character or art you want; if you want to keep things open ended, that’s fine too. Just be clear with me!


Commission Type Details

Category 1: Sketches
● Digital sketches done in SAI2 cost 12 USD
● Marker sketches done on mixed media paper and watercolor sketches done on watercolor paper cost 15 USD. Traditional art can be lined in ink pen or pencil.
● Backgrounds cost 3 USD, as does each extra character.
● Because they are sketches, these tend to be looser and quicker, but have a short turnaround time. You may only get one process sketch.

Category 2: Illustration
● Digital illustrations done in SAI2 cost 18 USD or more. A solid, texture, or pattern background is free.
● Watercolor illustrations done on cotton paper (ranging from 8x10 inches to 9x12 inches) cost 20 USD or more. A simple splash background when characters are the focus is free.
● Extra characters are 5 USD each. Detailed backgrounds cost 8 USD.
● Landscapes can include figures, as pictured! But they will not be in focus, as the point is to set a scene.
● Difficult subjects may add to the cost of the commission.

Category 3: Character Designs and References
● If you have any images of the character (that were drawn for or by you, except in the case of gifts, or have ownership of a design), those qualify for the 14 USD base price.
● If no previous images of the character in question exist, or the idea is to get an all-new design, the base price is 18 USD.
● The additional image prices are the same for both - 5 for headshots, 8 for full body.
● I will not charge you for a simple lineart flip to show colors on both sides of a side view. However, anything that requires me to do another drawing will be charged accordingly.
● As stated above, EVERY character sheet comes with palette, written information, design notes, and a background, if desired.
