The other day I remade a fighting game core I lost some time back, and in doing so had an idea that whatever it was to be used for in the future, it should involve my girl(s) Ximomera. I've been trying to figure out what on earth do do with this character and design for nearly a year, she's essentially one character that requires two separate illustrations every time she's drawn, so it would be hard to even commission someone to draw her for fun. Animating her would be a pain for a cartoon, and she'd be a nightmare to program in most games. However, when thinking of fun characters to use for a fighting game, I found that she'd actually work quite well as a fighter if I allowed for her Tiger half to change in size (to suit her mood).
She'd also be a great way of demonstrating how the core works, that of which is a 2 button fighter. One button is basic strikes and strings, and the other is heavy specials used to link up/cap off said strikes and strings.
