Really quick warm up shopjob; touched up Tess's old icon with her new look (and some added border stuff). Character belongs to 
Korat.
edit: didn't like how the resized images were substituting my png transparency for black. Switched image to jpg with a brown BG instead, added a border and that triangle thing and more fiddly stuff.

Man, I love this - it reminds me of a photo album, like sitting down with one on your knee and looking through old family photos. The wear, the lighting, the creases - I really adore this.
I adore little curl to her hair, the little cow-licked bit on top. I think my favorite part is her eyes though - she's got the brightest eyes - it just totally captures her personality, right there.
