*EDIT* I went and changed the original file because of the stupid little dots that I apparently I missed along the lines of Bulbasaur. So, if you want it without the dots (unless they are gone all ready), F5. Lololol.
Ugh. This wasn't meant to get colored all crazy like. I just got this random vibe to draw the first starters earlier and it kinda got out of hand.
OHWELL.
Bulbasaur and Squirtle look angry and spiteful. Especially Squirtle, because he is going to eat the Magikarp...and I guess he thinks you want to steal it or something. I don't know. Or he's afraid Bulbasaur is going to steal it, since he looks like he is looking up that way. Or something.
Charmander is just...well...dur. That's all I can say about him.

Hehehehe. God, I miss those games...I know they are re-releasing silver and gold..maybe they will do the same for Sapphire and Ruby...but you know, I wish they would just make a game with EVERY POKEMON EVER in it so it would be the ULTIMATE pokemon capture game EVER! XD Ahhh well...can dream...

It wouldn't be that hard to do and would totally rock. They could even make 3 separate zones, so you pick what "land" you start in. Nave a middle area for the championship where everyone can come together to trade and battle(or visit other lands).
And they need to hire BlackkHeartSpiral to do the character art. *GRIN*

They wouldn't have to do much to make ti a super good pokemon MMO. They already have some very nice 3D graphics from the various gamecube pokemon games. They already have wicked monster concepts from the gameboy pokemon games. All they really would need to be successful is a good engine(interface, display, controls, fight engine), a decent network connection, some sort of workable quest system(would be so easy to do) and perhaps the option to start in any village in your area and customize your character. The basic story line is already there - catch pokemon, battle pokemon and get gym badges. They could set up rival gyms, giving players a reason other then training to fight each other in the field, determined by their starting town. I think Nintendo's just being lazy or has some sort of aversion to MMOs. Come to think of it, I don't recall ever seeing a Nintendo MMO...
I agree with the above sentiment. It would be radical, but I am so doubtful they would ever do anything like that...mostly because they try and stick all family oriented and you know that since a lot of older people will probably end up playing alongside the kiddies, people will get all butthurt about it.
But yes, never know though, I am sure it has passed their thoughts a few times, and Pokemon seems to still be going strong despite it's age. So, in the coming years who knows what they will do.

Someone once did make a pokemon MMO, using the old gameboy graphics. Not official unfortunately, and last I checked they were having all sorts of issues and missing features. Maybe if they ever work out the bugs I'll give it a try.
