[[NOT MY ART]]Of Dragons and Dracology: Hao, Vol. I
In my studies, I have always used the term 'dragon' fairly strictly, I now realize. A dragon, I thought, was a large, quadruped and scaled beast, with forelegs and hindlegs, and two great wings. Muzzles could be boxy or elongated, but horns or frills adorned the tops of their heads. They were almost uniformly proportional: as big as they were long, but never one more than the other. Sure, I've encountered bulky dragons before, but they still shared the aforementioned traits with the rest of their kin.
Enter Hao, however. He is a dragon, but a dragon of a different breed entirely! Far longer than he is tall, and complete with fur! Fur! On a dragon! I never would have thought such a thing possible! Still just as playful and friendly as other members of his kin, though, he was pleased to encounter a being as inquisitive as me, and we got to discussing a great many topics!
Though he lacks wings, he can still certainly fly, though I must admit, the how of such flight eludes me. I'm...not sure he can breathe fire, but I'll have plenty of time to ask. He has allowed me to study him up close and personal, and with a new breed of dragon, I shall definitely have to be thorough! Wish me luck, dear readers!

sky25, who saw that I was studying other dragons and wanted in on the fun! Looks like I'm getting to the most interesting part first! Well, one one of them, I should say.
