Chapter 2: Planning the Trip
Soon morning came. Courage was already downstairs wondering how to get to them.
“How can I get to them? I doubt I can easily find them in the stars.” He wondered to himself as he was about to have breakfast. A few minutes later Eustace came in back to his usual self.
“What is he doing at the table again?” He said annoyed.
Luckily the dog got off the table before he was said more. So he decided to sit outside to think.
“Maybe the fresh air can help.” He says thinking…and it starts to work.
As he looks around, he finds some old junk and this gives him an idea.
“If I can build some sort of ship out of this, I’ll be heading out for them soon.” He says hoping it works as he starts thinking of a model for his ship.
Throughout the day he built and built to create his ship, and by nightfall, he manages to get it done.
“Great. Now all there’s left is to stock up for the trip.” He gets back inside to get ready. There he runs into Muriel.
“Hello Courage. I saw you out there all day. What were you doing?” She asked
“I was preparing to make my wish a reality.” Replied Courage. Muriel was about to ask what it was, but remembers telling a wish is bad luck.
“Well whatever it is, you need me or Eustace to come with you if we would?” Muriel asked again.
“And I won’t.” Said Eustace walking by.
“No.” Courage said bluntly. “This is something I’ve got to do alone.” He says before letting out a yawn. He was tired from working all day.
“By the look of it, you’ll need some rest before you take off.” She suggested.
“I was planning on starting tonight, but I guess you’re right.” He said, going upstairs to bed
He was planning to start tonight, but come tomorrow, his search for his long-lost relatives will begin.
