Makes sense ^^ I grew up watching Disney cartoons. They got me started trying to draw animals with human characteristics as opposed to humans with animal heads.

Aww! Cute backstory! Me? I think I just started drawing since I could remember. My obsession with anime/manga art burned so intensely that I wanted to copy it. So I practiced and practiced and BOOM, I got better even when I was struggling! I'm trying to master the Kemono artstyle. (Furries in an anime art style). I've still got ways to go. I need to pick back up on my skills. I just haven't felt motivated or inspired...

That's tougher. I like 'Cats don't dance' because of Woolie the Elephant, 'Fantasia' because of the Dance of the Hours sequence, 'Animal Wars' because of the pachyderms and the art style, 'Dumbo' has that amazing pink elephant sequence . . . it goes on.

Thanks, Captain! Getting this iPad has helped me immensely. I've gone from taking weeks to get a pic done to just a few days. If you're not using an iPad or a tablet, I totally recommend getting one.

Sometime when you can, I'd love to hear more about how you're doing your art. Maybe a tutorial?

I would be happy to answer any questions. I'm still learning this iPad (and trying different things) so a tutorial might be a little daunting. That is to say, I don't know what I'm doing ^^ At least not so much that I could explain it. Are you using an iPad? If so, I can tell you which brushes I'm using for the different layers, and show you some tricks I'm learning. The best thing would be to meet up in person and draw something with you. I wouldn't be opposed to a road-trip ^^

We may have to do that sometime when the weather is a little better!

Interesting concept, Pachyman! For starters, we don't get to see many anthropomorphic characters playing racquetball (let alone 'fat furry' ones)…

Coming from Florida myself, it would be cool if you had one of your behemoth creations playing either jai-alai or handball (pawball?)…
