Backstory: All his life, Rex was known as "The Wall." Since his powers to manipulate the earth awakened at a young age, he used it to protect people, almost like a strong, stone wall. But he knew he hasn't reached his full potential, so he when he turned 18, he left the orphanage he lived in to seek out a retired hero who had the same power he had, and under his tutelage and guidance he learned how to bring out his full potential of earth manipulation by incorporating moves akin to various types of Martial Arts. However, his teacher passed away three years later due to his old age. On his deathbed, his teacher told Rex to take up the mantle that he previously owned and requested Rex to promise him that he will always use his powers to protect others. After his teacher's funeral, Rex returned to his home city with a new purpose, a purpose to protect not just the city but the entire world from anyone who dared tried to jeopardize it as he now donned the name his teacher once owned; Terroquake!
