I know.. But.. I havent had a boyfriend since jr high.. im going to be 26 in december..

I'm 41 and have never been able to enjoy a good relationship. It's amazing how someone, male or female, will practically have to slap me upside the head and scream "What part of 'I'm flirting with you' don't you understand?" and then days later be berating me for not being the assertive dominant I obviously am.

I dunno...I didn't even try to have a relationship when I was in my twenties, and now I'm wondering why I even wasted my time in my thirties. :/

I have a hard time telling with someone is flirtying too.. half the time they turn out to just be teasing, and then get mad at me for not understanding and thinking they actually liked me..

I actually think that's the reason why I quit noticing things like flirting. Once you hear "Oh my gawd, you actually thought...Ugh!" enough, it becomes easier to just assume that it's just another cruel joke. I'm probably not psychologically recovered from all of the "Hey, I heard (Insert name of pretty girl here) telling her friends that she has the hots for you. You should go talk to her!" games from high school either.

I never had that problem in high school. I was avoided like the plague by guys.. all they wanted were the skinny brainless chicks who would spread their legs for anyone. Ugh.. Same problem these days as well.. nothing but horny dudes who want skinny girls.. at least around here..

Eh...we never grow up, I guess. I was the geek in high school, so all the girls thought it was fun to flirt with me and get me all flustered and all the (popular) guys thought it was fun to tell me that the skinny brainless girls who would spread their legs for anybody really liked me. Of course, any time I thought I needed to try to push things a little further, I found out it was all lies.
