EVERYONE PLEASE NOTE: This is actually the exact same voice meme file that I uploaded many,many months ago. It was just brought to my attention recently that there was something wrong with the file in my gallery, and despite my many attempts to fix and edit it, it wouldn't take. So I went ahead and deleted the original entry and just resubmitted it altogether. And put it in scraps, as well. I dunno, FA seems to have some kind of problem with editing audio files.

kalenidus hit me with this meme last week, and like childhood dares, it became a matter of personal honor that I belt this sucker out, despite the cold I was experiencing. That was actually the cause for delay. Well, that, and some ever present technical issues.

LOL, Montreal is still in Quebec, so I didn't exactly "flee" very far. :P As a matter of fact, it's, like, an hour-and-a-half drive from where I used to live. So yeah, ran from my family there, but alas, I also have relatives on the West Side of the map, too. So... kinda pincer'd in my little island fortress here... juuuust me and my fellow Poutine-lovers.

And the accent thing? Not sure... I guess it's just the novelty of hearing the same words spoken in a foreign cadence (that is natural and NOT a fake accent) that fascinates and lends a fresh angle on what would otherwise just be regular conversation. And, of course, you're double-lucky if you have a European accent of some kind, which makes getting laid over here in North America twice as easy...
... well, that's ONE thing, at least. :P

Some European accents are not overly attractive - just listen to anyone speaking Bulgarian or Turkish The horror, the horror! But for many other languages whispered in a sultry manner into your quivering ear-hole, they could be calling you the vilest things imaginable but all I would hear is sweet, sweet ear-candy
