
My version of the Egyptian God, Set. Since there has never been an accepted animal singled out for his non moprhic form, I based my design on various depictions of him him. It was interesting to see how dragon like he turned out. 11x14 acrylic on illustration board.

I have always considered this version of Set to be the standard from which all others are judged. Whenever I try to explain why I think he might be anubian. I usually say that he was a jackal with birth defects that altered his facial appearence.
( This explanation would be based on the scenario I use on my main web site. That the Egyptain gods were giant anthro animals from an advanced parent civilization. Sent to Egypt to bring mankind along to a level that they might live peacefully... that kind of thing)
