Chapter 3: Takeoff to the Stars
The morning soon arrived, and along with it came the awakening of Courage.

“Time to get ready.” He says getting up and preparing to pack for the journey.

He spent the next few hours of the day packing and preparing for his trip into outer space. He decided to mainly pack the essentials: food, some water, and a notebook in case he loses his way.

“I’m just about ready.” Courage says looking at his craft stepping outside.

“I wish you luck on...whatever it is you’re doing.” Muriel says to him.

“Awww...that’s nice of you.” The dog turns around and gives her a nice hug before stepping to his craft.

He makes sure that all of his equipment is in check. A few minutes later, he finds they are all set as he begins the countdown.

“10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1! Blast off!” He counted down before starting his journey.

The craft launches into the sky. From Courage’s vision the blue sky turns black as he goes higher and higher into the sky.

He is now in space and sees that he is now going farther than ever.

“Don’t worry Mom. Don’t worry Dad, I’m coming for you two.” He sees the far horizon of space in front of him, not knowing what lies ahead.

And so, the biggest adventure of his life has begun.
