Illustration Commission for ImNotSue!
Here's an illustration commissioned by a kindly folk named ImNotSue featuring two versions of his sona, Sue!
They asked to have them positioned in the center of the canvas in a head-on perspective, making their way hand-in-hand towards the viewer and standing on top of calm water. "demi" sue on the right is a jovial impish sort casting ribbony sparks of magic. His side of the canvas was to hint at a shrine in a forest. Taller Sue on the left was to be melancholy, wary and tired...surrounded by mountains of junk and garbage like you'd find at a dump or landfill.
I was asked to size the composition to fit a 16:9 ratio so that they can use it as a desktop background :D

Is the meaning of the drawing in the sense of figuring or literally? I ask him to understand the drawing if it really happens in two different times or that the decor represents the state of mind of the two versions of him. This drawing makes me sad, because it makes us say that we destroy more and more our world with our waste. Otherwise, beautiful drawing ^^
