Couch Kitties: See Ya Later, Wally Gator!
https://baltimore.cbslocal.com/2019.....ving-facility/
Henney recently took Wally, on a leash, to the Glatfelter Community Center at the Village at Sprenkle Drive, an assisted-living development north of York, Pennsylvania. Henney told them his gator has never bitten at anyone and is even afraid of cats, the York Daily Record reported.
“I’m not scared of snakes,” one woman said as she cautiously approached to have her picture taken with Wally, “but that thing has a lot of teeth.”
Wally may not be as soft and cuddly as support dogs, but Henney encouraged her to pet Wally, saying he particularly likes the top of his head rubbed.
“He’s just like a dog,” Henney told her. “He wants to be loved and petted.”
I'll stick to cartoon 'gators, I think. ;^.^

Wow -- there's a blast from the past. Back in the 1960s, Dad went on a business trip to NYC and came home with a new pair of Allen-Edmonds. The company bought them for him (kind of a bonus) and when he passed away in 2004, they were still in good shape. My sister donated them to the Salvation Army without knowing what she gave them.
a species is just a tendency when it comes to personality.
by that i don't mean it makes sense to assume any member of any species, including human, is ever entirely 'safe'.
but by the same token, it also means, judging an individual by their species, is just as big a mistake.
to some people, but not even all furries this is almost obvious,
but to many, perhaps most humans these days, it is unfortunately not.
so assume nothing, good bad, safe dangerous, about anyone, of any species.
and that goes even, a little bit of caution about those you think you know too,
and of course all the more those you don't.
even all the clues and hints you learn in life that give you some idea what to expect,
they might work most of the time, but there's always an exception to each and every last one of them.
