As long as she didn't say you messed her face up you're good.

hey! random comment/critique/help. :3 it's not the face. the head is too far over. if she's just walking with her head turned, her head/neck should be straighter up. her chin and nose shouldn't be as far over to be in line with her shoulder. see if you can get to a mirror, turn your face, and then look into the mirror with your peripheral vision. should help.

:3 well thank you but I'm going to have to disagree with the neck. Looking anatomy wise it seems fine on the neck, I wanted it to look a certain way, but I do think that the head attached to the neck is in the wrong spot. Again not really the necks wrong but the face and head.

It seems anyway I don't really know, I'm just usually pretty on the dot with my necks but do have troubles with the faces. I think that the head should be back just alittle bit more, and probably turned at more of a towards the camera angle.

I think you're right now that i'm looking at it a bit more. :3 And i hope i didn't bother you. I'm good at spotting anatomy mistakes, but i can't draw very well without references yet, so i rarely offer critiques. Have you tried the good ol' 'flip the paper over' trick? It does wonders for me and my wonky faces. :D

Oh no I like getting critique specially when it's not blatantly rude critique which most people like doing, it's was helpful and nice. But I'm stuck on the head as whats making the rest of it look wonky.

I'll prolly just resketch this ink is slightly old anyway, I think I've gained a few lvls anatomy wise and ink wise so thats prolly another reason I'm unhappy with it

teach me this 'gaining levels in anatomy', master. x_X i've been stuck in the same place for a few years. ;_;

Seriously what has helped the living crap out of me is doing all of my sketches in blue non-photo lead, cause it lets me set up the pre-sketch without a bunch of messy apparent lines throwing me off. And I can put some basic shading on the lines to know where the shading needs to be, ect. Cause I'm very particular about my sketch works.

Though your anatomy perfect in my opinion <3 but if you'd like maybe we could do another trade sometime and when I ship it off I could send you one of those pencils and see what you think of them.

I mean your anatomy is pretty great to me, I've seen you slack on it in some of your quicker pictures but on pictures I can tell you've spent a good chunk of time on it looks spot on

Lol I don't get on AIM much but it is on my phone so I'll prolly get on more :D and I have absolutly no problem with random adds as long as your not going to talk to me about jail.

Years...And I mean years ago I was added on my yim by a random punk person, who turn out later to find out has adult autism, every and I mean every converstation for years has been about prision/jail and wether or not I would eat the food there because I'm a vegetarian.

I mean since I was 13, I'm 20 now and this man still talks to me about jail x.x

Wow! There are a few people here on FA who just have these really rich, distinct styles- the kind of line work and color that just stands out, and when people see even thumbnails, they can tell who the artist is. You are definitely one of those artists, and seeing my character in your style is just such a happy thing. X3 I absolutely love this! I especially love how you did the striping on her socks, her skirt, and her hair. <3 It'll look so fun with a quote from the jabberwock!

About the head, I really don't see it as off at all- The picture is a nice, dynamic pose- the way she's moving, her head would be not only tilted to the side, but forward, and so I think everything's in the right place. <3

That was probably the most uplifting comment I've got in awhile, I always feel like my style doesnt stand out at all and generally is lacking but that made me feel really good. I'm probably going to do heavier ink on it to try to make it look alittle better, cause it still seems off...Though it might just need color.

Haha, I can't complain about getting two pictures, although you shouldn't feel that way at all. X3 I think nearly every artist (unless they've got a little too much ego) feels like their art is lacking in one way or another. That's the feeling that keeps us practicing and improving. Whatever you do to it, I'm very excited to see. :D
