One day a hunter caught word that there was a dragon around. Sensing this could make for one heck of a trophy, she set out to pursue and slay him. There was a child who was friends with said dragon, and in the end he got hurt worse than that creature, who fought valiantly in self-defense.

No one from that village knows exactly what happened to the hunter, or her bombs, but they say that dragon flew off with the child, who was battered and bruised and nearly bleeding to death from the shrapnel. In the end, the hero was the dragon and the evil monster of the story... was the hunter. But apparently the child's no pushover either.

1. I had to guess on the child's eyes. If they aren't green, just note me and I'll fix it.
2. Marked as general because it's no worse than, say, a fight scene from Avatar. And this really understates how badly a grenade can mess people up. ;p )
