However the story was meant to be more about there mother their design seemed neat, the empress is there unwilling mother, in part the result of a union that had been agreed upon by the previous empress and a tyrannical lords son, unfortunately the prior empress had passed away from a plague, and without an emperor her first born daughter the twins mother was put reluctantly in her place, the Lord or a neighboring state had passed a year previous to her mothers death, in turn delaying the betrothal of his eldest son and the princess/ now grieving empress in training.

inevitably the new Lord Hasten meets with the new empress, and through unfortunate circumstance the twins are brought into the world only to be detested by their victim mother, who can only be happy they are girls and as such not heir to the throne until her death, part of her knows they are only the product of a peace treaty gone awry, but the fact that there paternal parent still lives and that his ill gotten offspring were not crushed in there eggs tears at the empress. all the while in order to remain in peace with Lord Hasten who boasts a far more numerous army, especially after the plague struck the empresses city, taking so many of the populous soldiers and previous empress included. No one can know what he had done, even the twins, they only see their mother as a distant and even sometimes abusive parent, they are cared for by a nanny and try best to keep out of site.

there story wouldn't be told till later if ever i just have the story in my head so far and not enough ambition to write it all lol. also I wish it wasn't so dark but i dreamt some of it and was eww thats horroble but the was like ok... i may change it a bit at least how the twins came to be.
