Shiloh is a lucky moth who managed to avoid slavery.
Shiloh originates from the Far East. Due to a mix of pesticide overuse and pollution, insects in this region of the world went extinct, including pollinators like bees, butterflies and moths. Without these key critters, vegetation started to perish, and food production went alarmingly low, causing country-wide famines. As the government begged for other countries' help to save their population, GeneCorp worked on the matter and eventually mass-produced moth hybrids as an answer to that situation, against huge sums of money. The Far East agreed, and started to use the newly created hybrids as slave workers in their industrial farms and other orchards. Their job was to pollinate trees manually using their keen smell to detect flowers in need, but also to do most if not all of the farmwork without machines. Malnourished, mistreated and naturally weak, these hybrids were unable to fight back, and usually died of exhaustion during their first month. At any sign of rebellion, they would be severely punished - usually sentenced to death - and replaced. As humanity went extinct overnight, the moths were pretty quick at claiming the entire country as their own, but remained in the safety of their orchards to avoid danger.
Shiloh was lucky enough to be born a couple weeks prior to the Berzerk Apocalypse, and did not get to suffer as much as the other did. After the apocalypse, she decided that she wanted to see the world on her own and chose to hop on board of a trading ship heading towards the city of Kjarisk. There, she fell in love with the city, its inclusive inhabitants, and the landscape. She now happily works as a gardener in the Reynart orchard, and helps with the beekeeping and the harvests.
Being a moth, Shiloh is also extremely curious and attracted to anything that either glows, or smells sweet. She has a mostly fructivore diet and has a soft spot for sweet drinks such as tea, smoothies, and juices (to everyone's dismay, she also shares Sereina's love for durian fruits). It's not unusual for Shiloh to stalk people that she finds interesting (if they smell good or wear shiny things, for example) and to cling on to someone's back if she is scared or happy, hilariously looking like a 'moth backpack' to quote Andrew. She has the ability to fly and can be seen vibrating her wings prior to doing so, in order to warm herself up. Shiloh's antennas are extremely sensitive and Shiloh herself is a very fragile individual. Predators know that, and take extra steps to make sure that they do not harm her if she gets caught. Two notable threats to Shiloh would be Jeanne and Magnolia, as the former can attract her with shiny quartz, and the later with sweet pollens.
Note: Shiloh, like her siblings, has a language tick: she speaks in two words sentences and usually needs multiple to express complicated things. This is because when created, they didn't need to speak a whole lot, only to understand short orders and relay them.
