So for this one I tried to do a sunrise by hand. Not sure how it came out but I like how the story did.

Two and One Tail
New Years
During the remaining days of December and then throughout January Luna and Nicholas ended up spending a lot of time together. The fosky was shown Jordan’s new music video that he liked and a couple of new videos Wolfychu did. In addition, the two tailed vixen and long-haired male spent time doing Pokemon Go. Thanks to him Luna did get some shinies and made progress in that. Her necklace that had been given to her by Nicholas was worn all the time and he noticed it with a smile. But the thing so far that Luna enjoyed was the time spent on New Year’s Eve at the same amusement park where Jordan’s video had been shot at.
It was open from nine at night to five in the morning. The entire squad that had helped with the filming were there including Wolfychu. “I haven’t done something like this in a long time,” Nicholas stated. “Staying up all night and then watching the sun come up is quiet the feeling. Thanks for inviting me to this guys.”
“Well a fan of that should come here,” Jordan replied.
“And Luna wanted you to,” Wolfychu added with a smirk to her friend.
“Wolfy!” the vixen replied, blushing.
“Well it’s better than staying at home,” the fosky said with a grin. “Plus now I know of this place to go to.”
They made it to the park by ferry and saw the colored lights shinning like a bright beacon. Not all areas of the place were open but many including the rides were. There would be fireworks set off at midnight along with a countdown on a set up electric billboard. “Well now, where should we go first?” one of the group members asked.
They had a fun time trying out the games and rides. Wolfychu of course wouldn’t do the drop zone ride. That was fine as she had Nicholas and Luna waiting with her for the others. They also ran into some of his work friends here as well who joined up with the first group. But for the vixen having the fosky here made this time fun. If not, she wouldn’t have had any at all. But it was during this that little moments would happen for her and him. From their fingers and paws touching to having the female fall into the male while on some of the rides; it made both blush but smile. Even when Luna stammered and apologize, Nicholas would just hug her reassuringly with a smile. “I guess it’s a good thing I’m here then,” the long-haired male said to her after the fifth time this happened.
“Oh? Why?” she replied with a smile.
“Well… what if something happened to you? Then I wouldn’t be there to save you…” The vixen playfully shoved him with a giggle and the male gave her a one arm squeeze. Wolfychu saw these interactions and was smiling from it. But when asked why she was the said female just shrugged and replied that since Jordan was here, it made this a lot more fun.
But then at last the time came and they were all standing in front of the billboard. The countdown was due to start any minute now. Wolfychu and Jordan were snuggled up against the other with smiles while Luna and Nicholas were next to them. “We’ve made it to the end of another year only for another to begin,” the fosky said to the vixen. “Sometimes to me it’s just that… another year.”
“It’s a bit excited in a way,” she said. “We might make it to the quarter mark of the century.”
“That’s also true. And who knows what will happen.”
Just then someone shouted and the countdown began. When it hit zero, the fireworks went off, couples kissed, people shouted, and Luna and Nicholas hugged the other. But the fun wasn’t over as there were still five hours left to go. Some of his friends had to leave but the rest stayed behind. But then the best moment for Luna happened when those hours were up and they saw the sun beginning to rise. “It really is something,” she said as the group stood by the water.
“I told you so,” Nicholas stated. “Staying up at night and watching the sun come up is something you don’t do a lot but it’s a feeling that you won’t forget.”
“Well, I’m beat,” another commented. It was time to head home. But the fosky had one more thing to say to Luna.
“Hey Luna?” he asked. She turned to him. “Happy New Year by the way. I really hope it’s a good one for you.”
The vixen smiled sweetly. “You to!” she replied. And they walked behind the others, holding paws with matching smiles. It filled her with hope that this would be the year that they could go beyond what they had.
