Nobody remembers Lost Universe! And that isn't a stupid pun on it's name!
It sucks we never got to find out more about it's connections with Slayers as one of the alternate worlds, as it has the exact same cosmology and even shows the same demonic hierarchy tree during the outros. Apparently, the creator even made a later retcon which disavowed the setting almost entirely, so between that and the budget that led to it's demise.. well.. damn shame.
Ahh well, I'll still consider it SLAYERS IN SPACE! And who wouldn't want Megumi Hayashibara to be the voice (and soul) of their spaceship? <3
