A commission I finished for an old D&D buddy.
Not my personal story. But my understanding is that this battle was the player elected best part of the campaign, in which a player dueled a fellow PC-turned-NPC over assaulting the players' long time NPC companion. They fought down the spiral staircase of a tower whose innards were a rifled energy cannon poised to attack/destroy the world. The Werewolf Barbarian Berserker "Baron" had just met "Artourus Skorn" the Martial Dragonblooded Sorceror, the latter of which was under control of the last campaign's MacGuffin: The Red Gauntlet. But that didn't matter to Baron.
I hope you guys will pardon the blue edges, shiny lighting, and warping! It hard to take a picture of a 22"x30" without an oversized scanner or a professional set up!
