Chapter 5: Dream a Little Dream
He checked his home world time and saw it was getting late. This made him let out a yawn.

“I guess I could use a quick nap.” He stopped the ship and drifted off to sleep.

As he slept he dreamt about his parents. He awakens in a small misty area hearing his parents.

“Conrad?” Courage hears a familiar feminine voice, calling his old name.

“Who said that?” He looks around for the source.

“Conrad” A male voice said.

He sees the source as it looks like his parents Henry and Maria are there.

“Mom? Dad?” He says walking over to them...only to be stopped by an invisible glass wall. The mist disappeared revealing why. The parents were in the rocket that sent them away.

“Oh no!” He tries opening it up. “Mom! Dad! Get out of there!” The door won’t budge.

“Go.” said Maria. “You need to be safe.”

Henry said “We’ll still be with you even when not together. Remember that until we find each other again.”

Then the rocket blasted off leaving Courage waving a tearful goodbye as he sees them leave him.

“Bye Mom and Dad. I hope to find you again soon.” He begins weeping.

When he awoke, his face had tears rolling her eyes.

“I can’t believe I lost them again.” He says howling in sorrow.

“I don’t know if this is still worth doing anymore.”
