A doodle from this morning based on a conversation with
spottea. Idea belongs to her (and her friend
diorexity was part of its generation as well), and will, I believe, be used as part of her Thistleland setting. It's a hammerspace snake that doesn't look nearly large enough to eat you. But it can eat you. And the bulge won't be any larger than if it had swallowed an egg.
This one must be a juvenile, because they get a little longer with each prey they consume. Also, the people they eat aren't actually digested -- the bulge eventually shrinks, but only because the prey sinks "deeper" into the hammerspace stomach, where they will be kneaded and worked on by the infinite belly for all eternity as it saps their energy.

Truly a tricky critter to face against... especially if one doesn't realise the friendly little cutie is actually a danger! Oh well, it's one way to weed out the not-so-good Adventurers~! ;3
Loving the work you've done on this comic, and the last panel with that delightfully adorable Hammersnake is too much to resist, makes me want to just pick it up ... oh dear... >_>;;;

If you like the idea of an infinite belly (though not necessarily a shared one) you should check out my character Kira.
