One of my big hobbies is the study of ancient cultures. The Maya are one of my favs from the Americas. This Ocelot lady is wearing some traditional accoutraments. Watercolour on illustration board.

One of my professors was especially fascinated with the Mayans, so we got to see a LOT of photos from archaeological sites. You did a good job on the stela, and the character is great, as usual.

I think that you drew the bass-relief (how it is spelled) more realistically than their tradition called for... But the lady is a real beauty!
