I usually refrain from uploading my non-furry drawings here, but then I realized SpongeBob IS an anthropomorphic character.

When I found out Stephen Hillenburg passed, I wanted to make a tribute drawing. I unfortunately didn't get back to finishing it till just yesterday, but here it is. It's been so long since I made a SpongeBob drawing of any kind. Also, I love the backgrounds in the show and wanted to capture them in the best way I can.

I really loved this show while growing up. I still watch it here and there. Stephen Hillenburg was one of my heroes when I was little and I always hoped I'd somehow get to meet him if I ever made it into the cartooning industry.
