Xander has discovered that his quirk can mimic other quirks, but his Amorphous quirk is particular on what he can and can't mimic. How it works is that his amorphous skin reacts to certain quirks he comes into physical contact with, then little tendrils form and take samples from the other quirk user. With quirks he has copied, he also inherits their draw backs if they have them, so it's not an unlimited thing for him.
