I've been holding myself to a high standard for the things I post here recently. Full shading, full backgrounds, dynamic posing, anything less is pointless to share. But it's gotten to a point where my standards are unattainable for my current set of skills, which is why I haven't posted too often this year.

To alleviate these feelings, I'm just going to post something quick and simple I drew tonight. Didn't take more than 2 hours, most of which was spent on the sketch. It's more akin to the way I drew stuff in the beginning, simple shading, no real background.
To think, if I did all my pics this way I could start posting daily again :p
