At long last, she's done!
---
This head was a commission/gift for my sister
daringashia of her dutchie, Stellar.

((EDIT NOTE: We added the white nose stripe mid-creation and the ref needs to be updated.))
I'd be lying if I said this project went smoothly. ^^;
This child has been a pain in my ass since Day One.
It started with the white fur I ordered being stained yellow (somehow) which required me to reorder and wait for delivery.
Then the head size wasn't fitting right. Too big, too small, too tight, too loose, sliding forward, blocking vision, restricting movement, problem after problem.
Then came the struggle of the snoot/jaw.
*HEAVY BREATHING*
Her nose came out looking so stupidly huge- I cannot even fathom why I ever thought it looked good enough to pattern and fur... -___-
And then we entered the 4 days of torture that was THE HORNS........
So many failed attempts to make those giant bastards.
SO MANY FAILURES
After struggling PROFUSELY with them, I FINALLY managed to get the shape right and the gradient was added. (tutorial for how to do gradients on horns/feathers coming soon btw)
Then came the struggle of furring it.
The eyebrows were so uneven and wonky, and you can still see the cut lines where I had to do surgery on her face to fix them.
I went through the effort of furring the whole head, brought her to my sister for photos, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand...
It was then I realized how absolutely grotesquely gargantuan her nose was...
I tried so many times to see it as okay, but it just WAS NOT acceptable.
So I ended up chopping off THE ENTIRE SNOOT, and completely remade it.
What you see is the result of all my struggles and frustrations.
---
After everything I went through, I'm still very happy with the end result. ^_^
Getting her corruption markings on her eyes and ears were tricky, but I think I found a clever solution to it.
I can't wait to make video and take photos with my sister and I in our suits.
Lovely dutchie sisters.
I intend to further my skills with suit making, and hopefully I will be accepting commissions for heads in the near future.
*If you are interested in potentially getting a fursuit head from me, please send me a note to inquire about prices.
